Precision conveyor belt scales are used in applications where very accurate results are required and are used in applications such as:
- Ship loaders
- Train loading
- Custody transfer
- Wheat storage
Designed and manufactured in Australia for the most demanding applications, there precision conveyor belt scales are suitable for applications measuring material delivered to stockpiles, ship-loading and rail loading. Please check the Belt Scale Installation Guide for ideal locations and conditions suitable for precision conveyor belt scales.
The system is typically four, six, and eight-idler weigh frames depending on the application.
This is the system to be used in lieu of the Thermo Ramsey™ Series 17 or 14 4- 8 idler Belt Scale. Note a 4-idler belt scale with weigh-quality inline idlers must be used to achieve 0.25 %
.
- Accuracies in the order of ±0.25% or better are achievable
- Capacities up to 10 000 MTPH
- Conveyor belt widths up to 2400 mm
- Heavy-duty versions of our standard belt scale weigh frame designs are available for applications with high belt loadings
- Supplied fully assembled for easy installation into the conveyor structure
- Four (4) precision shear beam load cells. Optional hermatically sealed stainless steel load cells are also available
- Load cells internally mounted within the weigh frame to provide protection against mechanical damage from product spillage. Large access ports for easy maintenance
- Weigh frame assembly constructed from galvanised mild steel (stainless steel optional)
Precision conveyor belt scales are also supplied with:
- Heavy duty speed sensor/tachometer/encoder
- Electronic integrator and associated junction boxes
- Calibration equipment
Many belt scale applications also require metal detectors. Web Tech can also supply these if required. Depending on the application and material loading on the conveyor, we offer the following models:
